Features of communication in Norwegian parent–child play interactions

چکیده
Communication is best understood as occurring along three dimensions: interactional, conceptual, and linguistic. However, few studies have examined early parent–child communication all dimensions simultaneously. This study examines these of in Norwegian interactions during play. Thirty-nine 2-year-old children participated dyadic with their fathers ( N = 30) mothers 38). Of 39 children, 29 engaged separate both parents. Father–child mother–child responsive communication, levels abstract talk, language complexity diversity were compared. Overall, the features very similar between father–child interactions, there some noteworthy associations within families dyads. We discuss findings reference to relation specific activity cultural setting study.
